Nationals Figure Draw
The figure draw has now been released for the National Age Groups Championships in Gloucester this weekend. Please find it, along with other essential information, on the event page.
Important note: all swimmers competing please remember to take the following items with you:
- Photo accreditation. This must be worn at all times and you will not be able to swim without it
- Club tracksuit/kit/CoPA hat (please label it with swimmer’s name)
- Towels, warm clothing, pool shoes etc.
- Goggles
- Nose clips
- Solo costume (warm up and team costumes will be provided)
- Black costume and white hat for figures
- Gel, clips, nets etc.
- Photo ID (in case of random doping tests)
- Drinks and snacks
- Money for car parking

CoPA Success at NW Championships
It was CoPA’s day last Sunday at the NW Regional Championships in Broughton, with the club bringing home a total of 36 medals. Of the 25 CoPA swimmers who participated, all were awarded at least one medal.
- Natasha placed third overall in the under 12 figures event to claim a bronze medal
- Natasha also took a bronze medal for the under 12 solo event
- The 12 and under combination team (“Little Monsters”: Abby, Elizabeth, Emily, Eve, Evie, Immy, Natasha, Nema, Rachel and Sophia) won a bronze medal
- Daisy placed first in the 13 – 15 years figures to take gold
- Daisy also took gold in the 13 – 15 years free solo event, whilst an expressive swim from Leah saw her 4th place figures score translate into an overall 3rd place after her solo swim to take a bronze medal
- Leah and Daisy won gold for their 13 – 15 years duet
- The 13 – 15 free team (Daisy, Izzy, Leah and Olivia) placed second to collect silver medals
- In the 15 – 18 solo event Rhea gained a bronze medal
- Tilly and Rhea narrowly missed a gold medal but scooped a silver for their 15 – 18 duet performance
- The 19 and under team (Ana, Isabel, Olivia, Rhea, Sophie and Tilly) demonstrated huge performance strides since the Lancashire competition to take silver medals this time
- Shannon took a silver and Tilly a bronze for their championships solo swims
- The champs combination team (Alex, Ellie, Eloise and Megan) took another gold for their amazing routine

CoPA Master the Masters!
Congratulations to CoPA on a sterling performance at the ASA Masters competition today:
- Fiona took GOLD for her solo in the 40 – 49 years category
- Shannon won SILVER for her tech/free routine in the 20 – 25 years category
- The team (Alex, Megan, Eloise and Ellie) won GOLD for their free combo routine in the 20 – 25 years category

Please would all swimmers ensure that they have an up to date photograph on their ASA profile page.
IF YOU HAVE NOT UPLOADED YOUR PHOTO BY FRIDAY 28TH OCTOBER YOU WILL NOT BE ENTERED. THIS WILL AFFECT TEAM ENTRY.
To upload a photograph, please read pages 4 & 5 of the entry pack document and then go HERE to upload your photograph. Enter your name or ASA membership number to locate your profile and upload a photo/edit your details.
Swimmers are also invited to submit biographical information about themselves via this ASA form, which will assist the commentators at the event, and may be read out on the day.

CoPA Success at Yorkshire Open Competition
It was another successful weekend for CoPA swimmers as they competed on Sunday in the Yorkshire Open competition at Spenborough against clubs from both the North East Region and their peers from the North West. CoPA brought home medals from 7 events:
- Daisy took silver in the 13-15 figures
- Leah took bronze in the 13-15 figures
- Daisy took silver in the 13-15 solo
- Leah took bronze for the 13-15 solo
- Daisy & Leah also took gold as a pairing in the 13-15 duets
- Izzy, Leah, Olivia M. and Daisy collected a silver for their 13-15 team free routine
- Rhea and Tilly took gold for their 15-18 duet routine
We are very pleased with the progress made by all competitors from CoPA, many of whom set personal bests and placed very high in the rankings even if they didn’t quite make the podium. Congratulations to all.

Lancashire Championships Results
Congratulations are due to several CoPA athletes who collected a variety of medals at the Lancashire Championships on Sunday.
- Olivia H. took gold in the novice figures category, with Isabel G. taking silver
- Daisy took gold and Leah took silver in the 13 – 15 solo event
- Tilly took gold in the 15 & over solo event
- Evie and Natasha finished third for a bronze in the 12 & under duet event
- Leah and Daisy won gold in the 13 – 15 duet event
- Tilly and Rhea took gold in the 15 & over duet event
The CoPA ‘Amaluna’ combination team also finished second for a silver medal whilst the CoPA free team took a silver medal.

Congratulations to our friends from Kendal and City of Salford who also gained some impressive results and we thank them for coming along to make the event a success.

CoPA Success Continues at Beacon Games
Another successful day for CoPA at the combined Beacon Games and Leeds Open competition at Leeds today:
- Daisy Rushton finished second in the 13-15 age figures category whilst representing England Development (and Preston!) to take a silver medal,
- Rhea Howard finished 2nd in the 15-18 figures representing Preston in the open category to take a silver medal,
- Leah Meyer finished 24th out of 60 competitors in the 13-15 figures. A very pleasing result considering that most of those finishing ahead of her were members of either England Talent or Beacon Squads,
- Natasha Howard representing Leeds Beacon (and Preston!) finished 16th out of 59 competitors in the 12 and under figures.
Congratulations girls!
