Support CoPA this Christmas!

As Christmas approaches, you will no doubt be thinking of starting your Christmas shopping.  Please remember to support City of Preston Aquatics in your online shopping by signing up with Easy Fundraising and channelling your donations to CoPA.  This costs you absolutely nothing, but a few minutes spent setting up an account and using it each time you shop online can make a big difference to CoPA funds.  CoPA receives no external funding and exists purely through member subscriptions and any additional funds such as these which can be secured.  Please see the ‘Support CoPA‘ page for full details and help to propel CoPA onwards and upwards!

Please Support CoPA!

Just a reminder that you can support CoPA financially at no cost to yourself.  If you haven’t already signed up to Easy Fundraising please see this page for details.  All money raised in this way goes directly towards supporting your club and swimmers.

CoPA Sponsorship – Music Centre Donation

City of Preston Aquatics’ scheduled training session on Monday evening, 7th September saw a special visit from Mr Guy Topping, Managing Director of Barton Grange Garden Centre as he demonstrated his support for City of Preston Aquatics by delivering a new music centre.  Mr Topping spent time watching CoPA swimmers train and was fully apprised of goings on by coaches Alex and Fiona.  City of Preston Aquatics would like to extend their grateful thanks to Mr Topping for this most generous donation which is sure to serve the club well for many years to come.

Synchro mums Alex and Grace today swam the Great North Swim in the Lake District for charity.  Alex is fundraising for Motor Neurone Disease Association and anyone wishing to sponsor her can do so on her JustGiving page.   Grace is also fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support and CoPA as well!  Donations can be made in person to Chris Rushton or Grace and will be passed on to CoPA and Macmillan.

Both ladies finished in style!  Many congratulations from team CoPA!
